Do you desire more focus on the journey in MMOs?
Was reading something today that said that many old school gamers didn't know better during early MMOs. It meant we valued our time more, were less worried about getting that loot, and took a value and amazement in the world we played. It was far more common to communicate and play together.
I, one of the most bitter bastards for the community, agree with this, but could new MMOs strengthen this with a better focus on the journey instead of everything else?
Sure, build decent combat and PvP, but if the journey was better, would you like that more?
