Heroes of the Storm Empty Heroes of the Storm

Post by TheHidden01 Sat Feb 07, 2015 9:06 am

Purchased Blizzards Moba for an obscene price but nonetheless I am happy to say it was well worth it! Let's start by saying that although it's base is the same as LoL it's so different it's like a completely different genre. LoL is more pace, HoS is all about non-stop action, team work and shit.

Why I really like it!

1) Think of LoL without laning, without jungle and just pure team battles.
2) Roaming is basically the game, and because of it, Support is actually fun.
3) It's fucking Heroes from games we play, it's awesome being characters like Tyrande, Illidan, Diablo, Thrall and more.
4) NO ITEM HORSESHIT
5) Varied maps.

About items and shit

Okay so basically you level up much like WoW where at certain levels you get a talent point and choices to choose from. This can restructure your character, so for example, if you play a Support Hero, you can choose to boost say your healing spells, or choose to boost the offensive spells you have.

Much like League, you have levels on your account, but as well as that, each Hero has levels, where as you level you can unlock more talent choices, including a new Ult!

The best thing though is this, you level as a team, and unless you are doing awful, you are generally not that far off when losing. It means that without stupid item shit, you're not fucked if you have a bad start, especially as objectives come in!

Objectives

Objectives can VASTLY affect the game, there is no Jungle, but getting mercs to help you can help take a tower. Some maps unlock objectives that if done can disable THE ENTIRE TEAMS TOWERS AND TURN THEIR MINIONS TO 1 HP! Every map has a DEVASTATING effect that if you ignore, you're fucked.

Final Thoughts

It's fucking awesome, I have found my home, but it's so distinctly different that it doesn't actually take me away from LoL as much because the experience is so different. Team play really matters, and so far the community is alot better (probs because beta, and it's expensive enough to keep kids away).

One negative is that due to it being early in beta, there really isn't alot of Heroes released, but I am sure over time that will improve.

Should you buy it?

It would be awesome for you guys to join me, but it's expensive, if you're not desperate don't buy, but trust me, when you done, it will blow your mind!

Found awesome datamine, it's got like every WoW Hero I can want! It found Thrall and Jaina, Lost Vikings and Sylvanas before they were announced too.

My Free Rotation Review (Update in progress as I try them)

Jaina Proudmoore - Archmage
Assassin

Heroes of the Storm 2LXG67U0UOTZ1393291078165

Jaina Proudmoore is a master spellcaster, trained by the legendary Archmage Antonidas himself. Brilliant, courageous, and wise, it was Jaina who led the survivors of the Scourge of Lordaeron to safety. But don’t mistake her graciousness for weakness, or she will gladly demonstrate to you the folly of picking a fight with a sorceress.

Damage - 10/10
Utility - 3/10
Survivability - 3/10
Complexity - 4/10

My Thoughts: For those wondering just how this iconic hero will play, think of Frost Mage in WoW, BECAUSE THAT'S WHAT IT IS LOL! Frostbolt, Blizzard, Cone of Ice, Frostbyte if they hit you, an ult to get Ring of Frost or Water Elemental and talents such as Ice Block make this a very nostalgic hero especially for Frost Mage fans in WoW.

Playing her she was very squishy, but I moved well and stayed back picking my moments. This worked excellently, using Ring of Frost in team fights as both damage, CC, and sometimes choking enemies off, it was fucking awesome, especially as I talented Frost Bolt to hit like a Nuke.

Enjoyed her alot more than I thought, and is definately a good consideration for future heroes that works as a sort of playmaker but with Assassin damage.

Match Stats

On deaths, 1st = Best.

Rating:- ****

Mafurion Stormrage - Archdruid
Support

Heroes of the Storm 1865378-malfurion_wote_cropped_6928

My Thoughts:Due to this Hero not getting a highlight there is little data on him now. That being said, I knew he was support, and decided to go full healer. Maybe I'm turning gay but I fucking loved it, got called the best healer peeps had ever seen too which was nice.

I specced full healer, and managed to stay with team mates, no hero running whatsoever. I healed as best as I could and got some nice talents for healing also. His ultimate is to AOE heal his team which is awesome. Great win for the team and I know for a fact my healing won us the team fights, not to mention aoe roots to pin people down.

Loved it!

Match Stats

On deaths, 1st = Best.

Takedowns - 24 (2nd) - For those that don't know, being involved as a kill is counted here, not killing blows. Makes sense.
Deaths - 1 (1st)
Mechanics - 2 (5th) - I was there at everything so dunno why so low lol, guess cos I stayed at back.

Rating: *****

Tassadar - Savior of the Temple
Support

Heroes of the Storm Latest?cb=20131125021450

My Thoughts: Due to this Hero not getting a highlight there is little data on him now. We finally get to a hero that non-WoW players will know! Tassadar is a very difficult to play hero (the game tells you), and he didn't let me down. Decided to go full support but suffered due to bad team. Of all the support heroes, if not all heroes, this hero relies heavily on teamwork. He creates shields which when talented can heal and buff speed, aoe damage and an invul/invis for yourself. His ult is to turn into an Archon or create a force block like we see in SC.

With that in mind, he's more of a playmaker support, but I think in Quick Match where you never know who you're going to get, building offence maybe better in future.

Overall, not really for me, as I do like Rehgar and Malfurion for support more and I have them when needed.

Match Stats

Like a cunt I just clicked past -_-

Rating: **

Tyrael - Archangel of Justice
Warrior

Heroes of the Storm 2684731-tyrael_portrait

Among the angels it is the Archangel of Justice Tyrael who is humanity’s greatest defender. Wielding his sword El’druin against the Burning Hells, the Prime Evils would have enslaved Sanctuary and all of humanity long ago if Tyrael had not intervened.

Damage - 6/10
Utility - 6/10
Survivability - 8/10
Complexity - 5/10

My Thoughts: Was very interested to try Tyrael as he looks so badass. Unfortunately a completely scrub team of epic proportions ruined it again. That said I was a little disappointed with him. He reminds me somewhat of Riven, and can be very good diving in and out. I like that he has some interesting utility also.

I will give him more tries in due time, but for now, I feel he's not my favourite of the Warriors, but definately unique. In the right hands he can be a monster.

Rating:- ***

Valla - Vengeance Incarnate
Assassin

Heroes of the Storm VallaArt

My Thoughts: Due to this Hero not getting a highlight there is little data on her now. Valla reminds me alot of that similar LoL one at first site of her abilities, but she's anything but (don't ask me to name names). Pretty good and easy to play assassin I felt I did quite well with her. She's sturdier than Illidan my usual assassin, and when talented she can become quite an asset. Her ult which was basically like the Reaper in Overwatch is a bit gay but when I did it hit in a low life enemy team it fucking NUKED later in the game which was cool.

Not my favourite assasin but definately one I will look at again.

Rating:- ***

Zagara - Broodmother of the Swarm
Specialist

Heroes of the Storm ZagaraArt

If Kerrigan is the Queen of the zerg, then Zagara is the mother of the brood. Cunning and tenacious, she commands her vicious minions on the field of battle. Encounter her brood and beware: mess with her children and you answer to mama.

Damage - 6/10
Utility - 8/10
Survivability - 5/10
Complexity - 6/10

My Thoughts: Ehhh, it was okay, like any specialist it relies on a good group, but getting haunted mines didn't really help. I get the feeling Zagara is great at laning, and needs a more lane orientated map. She sends out banelings, which explode on impact (you SC vets will know), and can also summon other zerg. Her ult is a massive damaging root basically that takes them out of the battle for a short while.

Not a bad hero, but again, relies on team, and a more lane orientated map.

Rating:- ***

Chen - Legendary Brewmaster
Specialist

Heroes of the Storm 634877456980460691

To be a Brewmaster is to be an explorer, a lover of nature, and when the need arises; a powerful fighter. For years Chen Stormstout has wandered the world of Azeroth in search of rare ingredients, stirring stories, and of course, good brew.

Damage - 3/10
Utility - 4/10
Survivability - 10/10
Complexity - 6/10

My Thoughts: Having mained a Monk in MoP and remembered seeing Chen, I was fascinated to try him and found him interesting certainly as a potential tank. While he has some interesting talents, perhaps what stands out is his Ult which allows him to roll into a ball and knock back whoever he chooses, making this superb for strategy.

A good champ for tanking, but not really for me honestly.

Free Rotation Review - 17/02/2015

E.T.C - Rock God
Warrior

Heroes of the Storm EtcArt

My Thoughts: Due to this Hero not getting a highlight there is little data on him now. Okay, so of all the heroes potentially in the game, this is probably the one I want to play least and while he didn't really improve on my expectations he wasn't that bad. Quite nimble and full of CCs combined with a strong self heal makes him a good solo hero and I can understand why some still pick him. His ult is awesome, but the fact he needs to "tune up", makes it less useful than some other ults I know.

Honestly not a big fan, but it wasn't as bad as I thought he was going to be.

Rating:- **

Illidan - The Betrayer
Assassin

Heroes of the Storm IllidanArt

My Thoughts: Due to this Hero not getting a highlight there is little data on him now. Illidan is one of my favourite characters in WoW, and now thanks to Heroes is one of them too. Unlike others on this list I am completely familiar with Illidan as he is one of the heroes I own. As an Assassin he has a very squishy yet rewarding style, relying on auto attack heals and big damage to kill with dodges to help stay alive. Playing Illidan is all about picking your moments, and later on, it does become alot easier.

One of the better sides about Illidan is that both ults are viable, one with a charge/stun to any player on the map (when fully traited), and the other a severe and visually awesome upgrade on Illidan's base stats to allow him to become even stronger. Love this hero alot and will always play him!

Rating:- ****

Li Li - World Wanderer

Support

Heroes of the Storm LiLiArt

Born upon Shen-zin Su the Wandering Isle, Li Li Stormstout led a somewhat uneventful life until she began reading the journals of her uncle Chen. Soon, nothing would sate her desire for adventure, exploration, and pestering adventurers in the Valley of the Four Winds.

Damage - 3/10
Utility - 8/10
Survivability - 8/10
Complexity - 3/10

My Thoughts: Really didn't enjoy Li Li and found her quite un-intuitive. Her abilities are weak really, the heal aims automatically and not manually, and the Dragon summon for damage is shit too. Her ult is good for healing, but it only heals the lowest HP AoE :/

Honestly, not very impressed, I wont be playing her in a bind!

Rating:- *

Sonya - Wandering Barbarian
Warrior

Heroes of the Storm SonyaArt

My Thoughts: Due to this Hero not getting a highlight there is little data on her now. Not a bad hero by any stretch of the imagination. Her heroic ability is that she gains fury from attacks instead of needing mana which effectively means she can stay in a fight as long as she wants. I talented her whirlwind which is spin to win and a heal which was cool. Although she does have a pull, you can really feel it when she has no real CC. Her ult was a massive smash on the ground that stuns and when talented leaves a blockable area which goes nice with the whirlwind.

Honestly shes not for me, but I can see that in good hands she can be a real deadly force of sustained damage.

Rating:- ***

Uther - The Lightbringer
Support

Heroes of the Storm UtherArt

My Thoughts: Due to this Hero not getting a highlight there is little data on him now. Soooo to Uther, he's not bad, but didn't like him as much as say Malfurion. His single target heal is pretty decent, but his range heal and attack isn't strong even when talented. The nice stun comes in handy, but with a short range it's tough to get off in a team battle. His ult is also handy, but due to a rather bad team I didn't have a chance to explore his potential.

Not great, not terrible, may need more games before I can truly judge.

Rating:- ***

Sgt. Hammer
Specialist

Heroes of the Storm SgtHammerArt

My Thoughts: Due to this Hero not getting a highlight there is little data on him now. Again, had a terrible team, but whether or not I'm good with him, I really enjoyed playing with him. Loved going into siege tank mode and just nuking, great for team fights when we have a solid team.

Will most likely play him some more in the future.

Rating:- ****

Falstad - Wildhammer Thane
Assasin

Heroes of the Storm FalstadArt

My Thoughts: Due to this Hero not getting a highlight there is little data on him now. After playing him he's not my favourite Assassin but he does have some awesome single target damage thanks to an auto lightning attack you can spawn on the enemy. His Q throws a hammer which slows, but a narrow range makes this a trick shot, and of course a dodge.

Very squishy, and is okay, but not the best I've played by far.

Free Rotation Review - 24/02/2015

Arthas - The Lich King
Warrior

Heroes of the Storm ArthasArt

My Thoughts: Due to this Hero not getting a highlight there is little data on him now. Arthas like Illidan has been extremely iconic in WoW and like Illidan I was hoping I would fall in love with this hero. Sadly that's not the case, while I can certainly see Arthas doing great in the right hands, I just found him mechanically not to my tastes. Being as it's Arthas, that blows, but there we go.

He's not bad, and I may like him more with more talents but until then, I guess until free rotation I will get back to him then.

Rating:- ***

Brightwing - Faerie Dragon[/b]
Support

Heroes of the Storm BrightwingArt

The Faerie Dragons of Ashenvale are known for their playful demeanor, seemingly disappearing at a whim. The mischievous Brightwing is no exception, often materializing out of nowhere to save her allies or just to mock her foes.

Damage - 4/10
Utility - 9/10
Survivability - 6/10
Complexity - 9/10

My Thoughts: Well the game I played was quite possibly the worst team I ever got match made with. Thank god I got ranked now and don't have derps. Anyways, Brightwing is... Weird. Can be very good in the right hands but as the complexity score suggests, it takes strong micro managing and a good eye for the game and the team fights. I feel I can boss it, but need a good team to grow with. Unlike other supports, Brightwing is seemingly useless on it's own.

Not bad, but will have to see more.

Rating:- **

Muradin - Mountain King[/b]
Warrior

Heroes of the Storm MuradinArt

Once a mentor to Prince Arthas, Muradin was unable to prevent him from becoming the Lich King. After recovering from a mild case of amnesia, he is now the leader of the Bronzebeard clan since the "diamond-ization" of his brother, King Magni.

Damage - 5/10
Utility - 5/10
Survivability - 9/10
Complexity - 4/10

My Thoughts: For those following this, you know Muradin is my most played and favourite hero. While I could just skip him, I'm not going too, and instead use this to talk about changes and shit. Muradin is awesome and sadly we lost again (all losses so far). I normally run a stun build with him which later keeps me tanky and can do good solo damage. Muradin doesn't really stand out, but he's good at everything, so he can be an asset in good hands.

Overall he is still to this day my favourite hero.

Rating:- *****

Raynor - Renegade Commander
Assassin

Heroes of the Storm RaynorArt

My Thoughts: Due to this Hero not getting a highlight there is little data on him now. Okay so another hero I own and have played alot with being level 5 with him. I loved Raynor in the beginning and he's a great hero for first timers but now I find him lacking. While I can enjoy auto-attack heroes like Valla, Raynor is just yawn worthy. A lack of good lock down CC also makes him tough to play until you talent your W.

He's very accessible and I recommend for new players, but not for me.

Rating:- ***

Tyrande - High Priestess of Elune
Support

Heroes of the Storm TyrandeArt

My Thoughts: Due to this Hero not getting a highlight there is little data on her now. Tyrande, ahhh Tyrande. I hate this hero, but my losing streak ended with her, focusing on once again, an auto attack build. Managed to feel some semblence of useful but honestly I don't like her. Her heal is low, good stun but decent players avoid it and her W, maybe I need to utilize better. She has a nice AoE ult, but that's it.

Honestly, aside from this game, I have never really enjoyed her playstyle.

Rating:- **

Nazeebo - Heretic Witch Doctor
Specialist

Heroes of the Storm WitchDoctorArt

My Thoughts: Due to this Hero not getting a highlight there is little data on him now. So, this rather unique looking and playing hero was something I was fascinated to try. I think I need alot more time with this hero before I can judge, but it's not too bad. I like the use of W for creating a wall, and the damage can be very nice. I want to experiment with different builds really before I can truly judge.

Not bad, not great, will give more time.

Rating:- ***

Thrall - Warchief of the Horde[/b]
Assassin

Heroes of the Storm ThrallArt

As a child, Thrall served the cruel Aedelas Blackmoore as a slave. After gaining his freedom, he guided the liberated orcs to a land of their own, and worked to recover their ancient traditions. Now and forever, he is the Warchief of the Horde.

Damage - 8/10
Utility - 5/10
Survivability - 7/10
Complexity - 6/10

My Thoughts: Picked up a win here and finally out of the heroes I've yet to play, Thrall is someone I actually like! Really enjoyed the playstyle and I was more than surprised to discover he's an assassin. While I may have enjoyed his playstyle I feel like it may not be as valuable as say an Illidan or Valla, but Thrall is very popular and there is probably a reason for that, and I mean in meta terms, not scrub.

Unfortunately Thrall is very expensive, 10k gold, so maybe a long time before I can bring him to Hero League, but who knows eh?

Free Rotation Review - 03/03/2015

Diablo - Lord of Terror
Warrior

Heroes of the Storm DiabloArt

My Thoughts: Due to this Hero not getting a highlight there is little data on him now. Diablo was one of my first heroes but I went off him as a Warrior due to Muradin, but in an effort to learn a new Warrior he has risen again this past week. I really like him since the last patch and now I think I'm playing him more than Muradin. He's got some great control for team fights, and his fire breath is fucking devastating on certain maps.

Great hero that has multiple uses and can be tanky with a devastating ultimate to give some damage when needed.

Rating:- ****

Malfurion - Archdruid
Support

Heroes of the Storm MalfurionArt

My Thoughts: Due to this Hero not getting a highlight there is little data on him now. Malfurion remains my favourite Support and he was discovered during the first hero rotation I ever did. I find his healing is very strong, especially his maxed out ult. In that last game I tanked two attacking me at once, and got away in time for a team fight. He also brings passive healing, roots and a range attack which is nice. I love using him for team fights and feel the most comfortable of all.

It's nice to play him again, and for those looking for a good pure healing support, try him!

Rating:- *****

Stiches - Terror of Darkshire
Warrior

Heroes of the Storm StitchesArt

My Thoughts: Due to this Hero not getting a highlight there is little data on him now. Stiches in the Meta is the most played Warrior by far and is often number 1 or 2 pick with Valla, so I was very interested in trying him. Stitches I felt was ooook but I do need to see more of his talents I feel. His pull was cool, but I accidently talented the extra range instead of stun. His other abilities were cool, and I liked his passive alot. His ultimate was shit frankly and only useful when being chased, I want to try the other ultimate where I eat them up effectively.

Not bad, but I will have to give him more tries overall.

Rating:- ***

Valla - Demon Hunter
Assassin

Heroes of the Storm VallaArt

My Thoughts: Due to this Hero not getting a highlight there is little data on her now. Valla is my second most played hero in the game and while I think I ultimately prefer Illidan as an Assasin, she is very popular in the Meta right now along with Stitches. As for her build I have been playing her auto attack build with super healing and she can really survive well. It doesn't do as much damage, but it's great for staying alive.

I like Valla alot, but she's very squishy and honestly I just don't enjoy her playstyle as much. That being said she's one of my favourites overall.

Rating:- ****

Zeratul - Dark Prelate
Assassin

Heroes of the Storm ZeratulArt

My Thoughts: Due to this Hero not getting a highlight there is little data on him now. Before trying him Lulu was gushing with love for him so I was really excited to try him but unfortunately I was shut down hard. The enemy Nova stalked me the entire game and the hard counter fucked me hard. Combine that with a team that doesn't lane and I'm reduced to laning just to keep up in XP.

That said I felt he was okay, I was excited to roam so unfortunately I haven't had that pleasure yet. Nova is a strong counter for him, and I feel I need to play a few more to learn him. I like his damage but like all cloaked heroes, VERY SQUISHY.

Rating:- ***

Gazlowe - Boss of Ratchet
Specialist

Heroes of the Storm GazloweArt

My Thoughts: Due to this Hero not getting a highlight there is little data on him now. Okay so this was weird. I need more talents to try him but I can understand why some thinks he really sucks. He has pretty much no use in team play at first from what I can say, but can be absolutely devastating in laning.

He's unique and I have seen him played well, but honestly so far he's not for me. I will try him more in the future.

Rating:- *

Tassadar - Saviour of the Templar
Support

Heroes of the Storm TassadarArt

My Thoughts: Due to this Hero not getting a highlight there is little data on him now. Tassadar is probably the most popular specialist in the meta but honestly I have never gotten on well with him. In today's match though I found I quite liked him going 17 straight kills before dying my one and only time (right at the end too). He offers some good range damage and can support in a more offensive way (casts shield while doing damage).

I liked him alot more than last time and will be trying him a lot more.

E.T.C - Rock God
Warrior

Heroes of the Storm EtcArt

My Thoughts: Due to this Hero not getting a highlight there is little data on him now. It's been a while since I played E.T.C and honestly I never liked him. I recently saw a video of someone playing him and liked the style a bit more, and I have seen great E.T.Cs in ranked.

With that in mind I enjoyed this one alot more. Even without talents I found his style quite refreshing and it's a very "leader" like hero. Probably going to practice alot more to get ranked standard and throw him out there a few times. Another one for my Warrior arsenal.

Li Li - World Wanderer[/b]

My Thoughts: Li Li is my alt for support and I have never really gotten on with her as much. She's not too bad though and she has grown on me. Her ult is super strong in team fights which heals the lowest HP, and she has some nice abilities. In a stand up 2v2 I'd say she can be stronger than Malf at times, but Malf shines more at healing more.

She's growing on me, she's not bad, not great. She's very popular in ranked, so she is obviously played at a higher level.

Nova - Dominion Ghost
Assassin

Heroes of the Storm NovaArt

My Thoughts: Due to this Hero not getting a highlight there is little data on her now. After Dorek found he hated I was wondering just how I would find her and I loved her! Even more so than Zeratul who I just spent 10k on. Her Q is basically a skill shot snipe, followed by a slow on W and a Decoy which you can use in cloak on E. Her ultimate is a three tap shot which can almost kill anything.

Her style was awesome, especially as she's basically a ranged get in and get out sniper. She was really fun and definately someone I will buy eventually!

Rehgar - Shaman of the Earthen Ring
Support

Heroes of the Storm RehgarArt

Rehgar Earthfury has seen his share of combat, both as a gladiator, and a master of his own team of fighters. Now, having put that life aside, he serves as a simple shaman of the Earthen Ring, earning his redemption by healing the broken lands of Azeroth.

Damage - 6/10
Utility - 7/10
Survivability - 7/10
Complexity - 5/10

My Thoughts: Although I haven't reviewed him, I did play him in my first ever week! Rehgar was my favourite healer until I met Malfurion and now after playing him I can see why he's so popular in ranked. He's not going to kill many but he does do some damage in his lightning shield and is definately a front line healer type. His chain heal is kinda weak and that makes him a little less useful in healing situations but he can take an ult to insta full heal. His other ult is a 40% attack speed increase party wide which is why I think he get's taken alot.

I think Li Li is little better atm as I am used to her, but Rehgar is a better playstyle and could become my main alternate to Malfurion in ranked. This rotation has become the battle of the alternate healers!

Tyrael - Archangel of Justice
Support

Heroes of the Storm TyraelArt

Among the angels it is the Archangel of Justice Tyrael who is humanity’s greatest defender. Wielding his sword El’druin against the Burning Hells, the Prime Evils would have enslaved Sanctuary and all of humanity long ago if Tyrael had not intervened.

Damage - 6/10
Utility - 6/10
Survivability - 8/10
Complexity - 5/10

My Thoughts: It's been a little while since I played Tyrael and even though I warmed upto him after I did my initial review, I am once again not as happy with him. I believe he's had some nerfs and honestly his damage is low, his defence is low, perhaps I should look into more defensive builds because he's pretty shitty atm. His ultimates also seem lackluster which doesn't give me much hope.

Perhaps I'll get back into him, but for now, he's way down the list of favourites.

Azmodan - Lord of Sin
Specialist

Heroes of the Storm AzmodanArt

The Lord of Sin rules over a densely populated land of hell where both the greatest joys and despair, and the deepest depravities can be experienced. But it is never enough for Azmodan, who has set his eyes on the realm of Sanctuary.

Damage - 3/10
Utility - 6/10
Survivability - 7/10
Complexity - 5/10

My Thoughts: Azmodan was one of my early favourites that I played the very first week I got this game (The only week I don't have rotation for). Since then, or rather, since the past week my luck with Azo has gone down and he is losing favour with me. I think that's largely because in ranked people are smarter. I can't get his laning builds to work as of yet, and therefore I find his not as suited currently as a specialist. In the new laning map that may change.

Azo is a great single target/lane pusher and he's great for solo and staying alive. In team fights he can be lacking, but he puts significant pressure that if ignored can kill anyone. He may have lost some favour, but I'm sure he will be a Specialist I always go back too, he is my main one after all!

Jaina Proudmore - Archmage
Assassin

Heroes of the Storm JainaArt

Jaina Proudmoore is a master spellcaster, trained by the legendary Archmage Antonidas himself. Brilliant, courageous, and wise, it was Jaina who led the survivors of the Scourge of Lordaeron to safety. But don’t mistake her graciousness for weakness, or she will gladly demonstrate to you the folly of picking a fight with a sorceress.

Damage - 10/10
Utility - 3/10
Survivability - 3/10
Complexity - 4/10

My Thoughts: Jaina is one of my favourite Assassins and to date the only hero I have payed rl money for. That said, I have gone off her as well slightly. Her AOE damage with W, E and later her Ring of Frost is tremendous, but outside of that she's incredibly squishy. The problem with the W build I go for, which is her AOE Blizzard attack is that the cooldown is too long to make her that amazing.

That said I am going to try some different builds as she is a very fun hero to play with. She is about third in line for Assassin in Ranked for me, and on certain massive team fight maps I do take her.
