ArenaNet: Update on Free World Transfers 8/31

A massively multiplayer online game that encourages you to play with one another? What a novel concept. Encouraging teamwork, and playing with your friends has been the mantra of ANet since announcing GW2. Holding to their word, ArenaNet announced tonight via Twitter that World Transfers will remain free until server populations have stabilized.
Along with the World Transfer news, they also have opened three new Worlds in the US and three new Worlds in the EU. Great news to many who have been unable to roll characters with their friends due to the server being full. We’ll be sure to keep you up to date with World Transfer status in the days ahead. Thanks ANet!
