For those who don't know, the Windows 7 Release Candidate 1 was opened for the public today. You're entirely free to download it, install it and use it until 1 June 2010. But there's never been a better time to be warned: you're on your own -- Microsoft offers no technical support.

However, I will be installing it on all the computers in our house that can handle it (currently finishing up on my dad's new laptop) and have been using the Beta since it was made available. So if anyone does go ahead and get it installed I will be happy to offer some support.

When my external HD arrives on Thursday (Limited internet means I can't re-download all my steam stuff and it won't all fit on our current 40GB external HD) I'll get it installed on my main PC and put up some screen shots then.
