Carl Froch becomes the WBC Super-Middleweight Champion!

On Saturday Carl Froch beat the undefeated Canadian, Jean Pascal to claim the vacant WBC Super-Middleweight Championship of the World.

The fight was superb with every round going punch to punch, but it would be ultimately Froch that would claim the win as hhe bested a tired looking Pascal on a points decision after 12 rounds.

Froch has reportedly been interested in fighting Joe Calzaghe next, the welsh King is who britain's best boxer at the moment with the former title that Calzaghe left vacant. He is also interested in unifying the other belts in this division.

I wasnt that impressed with Froch he had no guard, his hands were always by his waist. was a good fight though and he can certainly take a punch i just think if he is to try and take on the likes of Calzaghe he needs to work on his guard as he will get ripped to shreads.

Calzaghe > Froch Imo

Calzaghe has proven himself against all types of boxers, he is a different league to Froch.
