Dynamic-link library or DLL, is Microsoft's implementation of the shared library so that's why AVG picked it up as a trojan basically anything that is a .DLL can share information... i'm not sure how AVG searches for them and decides if they are safe or not as i'm sure there are a lot in the Windows files.
