Have there ever been NPCs in a game you've felt attached to, or genuinely enjoyed talking to?

My favourite would probably be Alarak in SC2 right now. After I do literally anything in game I go track him down and see if he has anything new to complain about. The guy's a beacon of anger and witty dialogue.

i suppose the blacksmith guy in dark souls and the hot fire keeper that had no eyeballs but would fuck her.

Patches from Dark Souls series is probably my favourite, I like Abathur from Starcraft2 a lot aswell.

True Abathur is really cool as well. Kerrigan's so mean to him though poor lil bug.
