What impresses you the most about Ashes so far?
From the first impressions we have received about the game, what impresses you the most so far?

The variety of artisan classes and no global auctions for everything. That economy would be really interesting to observe.

The scope and the seeming freedom.

The node system, the fact that they are trying to make the content react to player actions (like chosing what node to develop to what point etc.) is something i'm looking forward to see in more detail.
I think the greatest problem sandboxes (and mmo's in general) face is the world starts to stagnate once you have been everywhere and experienced everything. (sure player cities might get destroyed and rise up, but the actual world content is unnafected by it in current mmo's)
This system if implemented like advertised could make it feel more like a real living world where things change and evolve alongside with the players on the server. This makes working toward a goal or achievement more impactfull since you can potentially change the shape of the entire server/world.
Exciting stuff!

The evolving of the nodes seems pretty impressive, but personally I like the class system the best. I loved the FF class system and this seems an even better version, though I don't want to get too excited until I see how it works as I worry many combinations may end up unviable unless the devs are on point when they balance them.
