What's your favourite World of Warcraft memory?
Eleven years is a long time to cast one’s recollection lines back into the memory pool, but several moments from the initial launch of World of Warcraft remain firmly embedded in my mind. I’ll always remember the chaos of those initial weeks, my first steps as a Dwarf Hunter, and the joy that this game I’d been anticipating for three years was finally here.
Over the next four years, I would rack up a lot of terrific memories from the game. I’ll always be fond of my guildmates and their antics. I won’t forget how questing used to be before the hub system came into vogue. I’ll always laugh at that time that a friend put me on auto-follow and I jumped off a cliff and instantly transformed my Druid into her flying form.
So what is your favorite World of Warcraft memory from the past 11 years?

I loved the early days in Vanilla when most of the community didn't know what the fuck they were doing and people found it amazing to play with other players. No one took it for granted and it meant you always had these amazing adventures. You also didn't research games quite as much so everything was mysterious and wonderful.
That being said, I'm excited to create new memories for WoW in the future.

1: When I was first healing in LFR dungeons. One time while doing Heroic Zul'Gurub everyone was doing absolutely AWFUL (running in opposite directions, pulling everything in sight etc.) except the mage. Mage messaged me saying how thankful he was that I was trying so hard and keeping everyone alive despite their best efforts. He was the reason I now main a priest....made me feel like at least someone appreciates healers. In the end the other idiots left in the middle of the final boss. Me and the mage managed to kill him by ourselves despite the fact that it took ages due to shit dps.
2: I was wandering about doing some exploring when I came face to face with an Orc Warrior nearly double my level. I figured he was going to kill me but instead we ended up having a makeshift conversation with emotes. I still wonder who he was, it was one of those weird connections you can only make through a medium like video games.
