10 Weeks of Martial Arts
Blade and Soul will be hitting Beta this Autumn and in order to get into the spirit, The Dragoons will be hosting a 10 Weeks of Martial Arts festival where we will watch a selection of Martial Arts movies. These will all vary, some serious, some cheesy, yet classics. You can join in every week in the gathering event, or you can of course watch the movie by yourself to keep up.
During this whole event, we will be reviewing them just like we normally do.

Re: 10 Weeks of Martial Arts
Week 1 - Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon
The opening movie is an academy award winning movie that is a classic. Just when Martial Arts were fading in the west, this monster comes in and is a massive success. This movie also lead Martial Arts movies to the next era, and naturally, the choreography is excellent.
Due to my annoying work times, I will be watching it on Monday at 11pm BST, I know it's late, but there is nothing else I can do with this retarded work schedule (bring on permanent overnights).
Anyway I know not all can make that time, so if you want to watch feel free to watch on your lonesome your welcome, in the meantime, join me this Monday for the viewing! (May get a leader to organize a Saturday session for everyone else if people are interested in watching, check back).

Week 2 - Bloodsport
It's time for our second film as we head to a Jean Claude Van Damme classic in the form of Bloodsport. This is a very different film, almost feels like a different genre to Crouching Tiger it's so different, which goes to show the variations in the genre. This is heavily westernised, but Van Damme made a career out of these movies and for good reason.
If you want to join me in watching this film, I will be watching it on Friday night, so come along!

Re: 10 Weeks of Martial Arts
Alright dickheads, no one liked Bloodsport but maybe Heroes will tickle your fancy. This movie has a unique story, amazing Martial Arts, and Jet Li, I heavily recommend this film as it is in the same vein of what we will be playing.
Join me this week, got every evening free but more likely Saturday at this right.
