Bleach vs Naruto vs One Piece

Everyone tells me watch Naruto, but nothing comes close to Bleach (except Berserk), that was until I started to see One Piece and figured hey this shit rocks.

Fuck it all, it's time to put these son's of bitches against each other once and for all. I will be watching an episode a day of all three at the same time, and rating them in order of best. At end, one with most 1st places wins (while all 3 last).

I will also take into consideration my overall favourite out of all of them for the whole story (Naruto and OP not finished, but Naruto is close, and OP well whatever ).

Episode 1

Bleach - A Shinigami is born!

Obviously I have seen this before as I have seen nearly all of Bleach, amazing first episode and this episode carried me deep into the show when it picked up. Really solid and intriguing opening.

One Piece - The man who will become the Pirate King!

One Piece seemed so much funnier this time around than when I last watched it. I guess after seeing a few episodes I get the humour, I've seen this episode so many times so I have no clue why I was barrelling in laughter.

Good start to the show, and honestly this time left a much better impression than last time I watched it (because I do like the show and looking forward to following this one).

Naruto - Uzumaki Naruto arrives!

Good solid opener with a fascinating introduction of the main character, Naruto's inner conflict, which will be fascinating to see develope. Although One Piece was funny, Naruto was stronger in the first episode.

Bleach charges full steam ahead destroying the other two, with Naruto just better than OP for me.

Episode 2

Bleach - Pay or Play

A solid sequal to the opener that quickly challenges the why behind saving people, something Bleach does very well. Was introduce to Orihime and got to see that Rukia is going to be a permanant fixture.

Nice episode leading into a collision with the brother.

Naruto - I am Konohomaru

Goes way off steam from the last episode, although it's not unbearable it's a childish episode that doesn't really build anything except that we see the Hokage remains fascinated with Naruto.

The show dipped hard here.

One Piece - The Great Swordsman Appears

Really solid, action packed episode that just packed enough punch to be the star of the week. Zorro looks very fascinating and Luffy continues to act the wiser of the three heroes of these animes.

Going to change how this works, which is unfortunate slightly, but probably the best thing realistically.

Rather than watch an episode a day thereby killing my marathons that will happen when I get into it, I shall watch each anime a season each. I shall go Bleach, Naruto, One Piece, with three episodes a day.

Overall pretty strong evening of episodes, but seems to be on short mini arcs instead of focusing on one major story. I know it get's better, but this doesn't bode well for the show vs show for season 1 review!

Good character developement across the board, but it's time to get serious.

What stands out about Bleach watching it back, is just how fantastically deep it is with it's "feelings". When I say deep story I love it, but if you have a deep emotional/spiritual component to it, it makes it superb.

The last episode was fantastic, and it only get's better. After watching other animes, it just shows how great Bleach is, how deep, and true, and how brilliantly the emotional content is showed and delivered.
